China 2009
I took a few pictures while I was in China. The factories were not as hi-tech as I imagined. In fact, many of them used coal to produce the electricity needed to crank out the bike parts!

first build, one year (or so) later
This was meant to be my wife's bike. But she never quite got the hang of it. So I repo'd it.
I have my second build torn down right now. Gonna give it a paint job and rebuild it for myself.
Then I'll figure out what to do with this bike. Probably give it to my younest daughter. She handled both bikes pretty well.

Tortuga beach cruiser
This bike is also ready for a USA GRUBEE motor. I welded 17 pieces of metal to make this Tortuga bike home made frame. This one has fenders for when it does rain in tucson. 3 handle bars were welded to make the ape hangers. I can't wait to take this one to San Diego.

Tortuga 4 wheeled bike
I welded the front of a tadpole bike to the rear of a trike rear end. I think I will put a old Honda mini trail 50cc motor that has a 3 speed gear box. Also maybe a electric motor for back up. Then a top for the 103+ sun for some shade here in sunny Tucson AZ. I will need to pick a color to match the look I want.

IRON HORSE WARRIOR CUSTOM ('lil Lucy)
Heres the bike im useing for the build-
2003 Iron Horse Warrior mens 21.5" hard tailed mountain bike frame.I bought the frame off my boss at the bike shop $30.00. The frame and the seat post clamp are the only original part left of the bike.
I've purchased a Jet 66cc(chink80) slant head black engine kit, a Sick bike parts shift kit and pipe and several other parts including custom made Kings chain rings to replace the crappy ones from the shift kit.
I'm going to document the entire build on these pages.
I welcome your comments and tips-
