Well i've made myself a proper camera mount, i got the instructions off instructables, sorry about the bad pics i took it with my phone as the camera was at home. It has, a Bike Reflector mount which i got it for free at the bike shop ( i told him what i was doing with it and he just gave one to me ) I got 1m of 1/4" thread for free, 2 1/4" wing nuts, 2 1/4'' washers, 4 spring washers and one locking nut all for free. My dad knows the guy who owns the store and my dad buys stuff from there on a daily basis so hes like coz hes such a nice kid ill give it to ya for free. Ive been to that store like 4 times for all these motor mount screws n things, i know him well now lol. Wen i walk in hes like what now? haha. I also sliced up...
Found the frame on Craigslist was not what I expected, but then the guy started talking about how he needed to feed his baby. I just went ahead and bought it. I call it the. One slant sparkpluged, purple baby saver http://i31.tinypic.com/20uub1h.jpg
I took my old mountain bike from 13-odd years ago and put a Staton Friction Kit with a Robin-Subaru EH035 (33.5cc) on it. That was great for a while until I realized that at 40 yrs old I wasn't as thrilled about holding that much of my body weight up with my arms. So I went to Wal-Mart and picked up a Schwinn Point Beach (basically the Schwinn version of the Kulana Moon Dog) and transferred the kit over. I took my first ride to work on the Point Beach today and loved it. Sitting back on that beach cruiser was MUCH more comfortable. I've attached pictures of the original Mongoose Sycamore and the new Schwinn Point Beach. I think I'm going to have to put the back fender back on it (on the front side of the back tire up...
This is the project bike I'm working on, an old-school stump jumper (Specialized Hardrock GX). It's got a fresh new paint job, courtesy of a can of primer and Rust Oleum spray paint. I plan on putting on a 25cc R-Subaru on it. The paint scheme will be yellow and black (so Tom, please send the black decals asap;)). This is the "before" picture.

So I was riding my bike around, and my back brakes got messed up and didnt work. I was thinking, OK, Ill just motor home and fix them up. I am riding down the street, and a car comes and pulls out of an alley. I had just put fenders on the bike so I was thinking, ****, I need to stop, and FAST. I tried to put my foot on the front tire to slow me down, (doin around 50kms) and I totally missed the tire and my foot got caught in the forks, YIKES, so there I was, flying over the handlebars, so I have some advice to everyone. If your brakes fail on a ride, TURN YOUR ENGINE OFF, and pedal home and fix it. My helmet saved the day though, there's big chunks out of it and its scraped up pretty good. So I got to spend the day in the...
Here is my new Build, it is a Schwinn Point Beach and it is for sale...... I built the Schwinn as a side project because I am one of those people who would prefer to be in the garage tinkering than sitting in front of the t.v. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q290/robk928/DSC01207.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q290/robk928/DSC01206.jpg If anyone local would like to check it out let me know. :D Here is my "Daily driver" it is a specialized fsr with the Gebe 32cc tanaka. I can't tell you enough how happy I am with this setup! I feel I can get on it anytime and ride it anywhere! So far I have 380 trouble free miles :D http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q290/robk928/DSC01208.jpg Rob.
This is my first build. it took about 9-10 hrs to get everything tuned and the way i like it. The hardest part was the chain and sprocket alignment. The chain would ride on the tensioner and would cuase the tensioner to move into my spokes.. So i had to drill another bolts through the frame to make a bracket. The throttle from Powerking sucked. But i got it to work. Good kit I love my moon dog, Im breaking it in right now. I ordered a 49cc from PowerkingShop on . here are some pics: edit*** will upload soon
