I've finally got the 4-stroke running sweet. Tried a 44t sprocket - fast but useless on hills. The 56T was too slow and not that good on hills either so finally I've settled for a 48T sprocket which cruises fast on flat but I have to pedal hard on hills - sometimes very hard! The 50cc just hasn't got pulling power on hills but I still gets to most destinations in 40% of the time the HT 70cc took. I tried the big tank and then went back to the old HT tank cos it's prettier. Looks are important to me and I ride alone along lovely lonely roads hanging my leg out on corners and making Ducati burble noises with only the cows laughing at me. The long silencer was a good buy and it sounds like a 4-stroke. The gearbox is behaving well with...
This is a project my wife got me started on. Well almost. She showed me a photo of a Vespa type motor scooter and said why don't we get one instead of another car. So I said that would be good and thought of a Whizzer. Then after joining here and studying up I decided to bid on a bike at eBay and buy a kit for it. The photo is of the bike I ordered and received. A Staton inside drive kit is coming my way now. I decided to get a kit so I could make use of their proven solutions for problems I may not even know about yet. I should get the kit tomorrow and start a frame modification to install it. I have ordered some 4130 Cro Moly 1/2 inch .049 wall thickness tubing. I will build a rack of this to hold the motor and make a...

I've almost got my bike running! I got a 49cc 2-stroke gasoline engine (not sure who makes it, but its not like the whizzer clones that I see on this forum a lot). It has an electric start and I've yet to put on the drive train and fuel tank. I had to custom make my mount, and I learned how to weld to do that(you can see my first welds I've ever done on the mount itself :-) I decided to put it together when I decided it'd be cheaper than getting a nice scooter or driving my t-bird back and forth between school and home. Heres what I have done so far, hope you guys like it! Sean Sage http://picasaweb.google.com/sts70004/MyBike?pli=1
Howdy all... I have finally gotten around to posting pics of my bike. I just recently rebuilt most everything on here and upgraded from a JL hoot style gearbox and non-adjustable mounting plate to the Grubee skyhawk 2 setup with a few minor improvements. I must say I am impressed with the difference and would recommend anyone spend the extra money and get the Grubee kit and stay away from the JL Hoot setup. I have the Hua Sheng GX50 clone and it does the job just fine. With a 48 tooth rear sprocket, I get about 32 mph on flat ground. Uphill kinda suffers but my area is mostly flat. Overall I am loving this bike now that I rebuilt it with the new stuff. Feel free to give me a shout if there's any questions comments or sarcastic...
I haven't done much yet - but a few weeks ago I got new handlebars - today I picked up a new hairpin spring seat that is smaller than the stock saddle that comes on the NE5. I also picked up a generic gloss black rack. I figure I couldn't go wrong at $12 for the rack. I went with black instead of chrome because the fenders are chrome and I am waiting for my 24 x 3 cream colored tires to come in (they shipped 26"ers by mistake). Oh, I also took the chain guard off to how I liked it - and I dropped the handlebars a bit more. I am debating on getting a black rear fender and doing away with the front chrome one altogether when I get the cream tires - I'll experiment and see what I like best. My wife exclaimed tonight - "There you...
Here are Two Titans Dueling it out in the Heart of USA. The guy in the white tee shirt "me" has the 36T, and the Camera man has the 44T. Looks like the 44T has it on Acceleration, but the 36T has it on top end .. Wow!! About 3 mins long is this Video. Enjoy the ride.. Dueling Titans !! http://www.thatsdax.com/DUELING_TITANS.html
I have about 200 miles on the new Tanaka 32. It is a blast to ride. I ride 20 miles to work round trip. Takes about 10 mins longer than in my truck. I had to upgrade the killswitch to one I got at motorycle shop. It has a ground wire and works great. The rear fender works real well..pics can be seen here http://s266.photobucket.com/albums/ii270/highball_album/
I've been building MB for a few years now, but i'm not using the 80cc engine kits that most people are. I'm using the 49cc engine out of the pocket bikes. I'm about to start my new project which will be a chopper, i will replace the rear wheel with a huge one, measuring 20cm wide, also i will use the 110cc 4 stroke LIFAN engine. i will keep you all up to date once i get all the parts . Enjoy my pics a videos Cheers Muzza http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDeip37nNKQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJDBF-f6bkg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjJoGuQ0JoY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcP6nmc31s4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=93l826PyRS0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnFhjVug0sI
Finally got my schwinn finished. Afew slow downs along the way. The motor did not fit between the front and seat post well so I attached to front tube and made a mount for the rear. After I had it mounted I found my chain was about 6 inches too short so off to TSC for a 10 ft chain. I had found some slightly used wheels and put new tires on it. The handle bars are Longhorns with a springer. I had to cut the seat tube off because of the rust and just could not get it out. Cut it off and made brackets for front and under springs in the back. Handles a little shacky but fun to ride. During start up it fired right up and only minor carb tuning had it idleing fine. Makes a bit of gear and chain noise but I guess that is normal from what I...

I've had this bike and the parts around a year now and hadn't put it together due to health problems. It is for sale, I need the money badly. I wanted to share these pics with everyone here. It is for sale for 1400.00 but will sell it for 1300.00. I have not marked up ANY of the parts and bike over what I paid. I will make around 165.00 total. I easily have over 20 hours of labor into the bike. I repacked the rear coaster brake hub and front hub on this new bike (with no miles) with Mobile 1 sythetic grease. I hope it will sell soon. Road testing is complete. I hope you enjoy the pics. BRAND NEW MOTORIZED KUSTOM KRUISER ROADSTER equipped with DDM GP420 motor (41.5 cc two-stoke (40mm bore, 33mm stroke) performance machine. I got everything just so, and now it's running sweet. Monarch forks: Much smoother than you would think. Absorbs shocks and rolls over rocks. Triple spring seat: Nice and though it's low end, it still works great. A Brooks saddle would be better though. 80cc engine, ok I know it's not an 80 but that's how they sold it to me. Anyway, same set up is on my bike and this engine has a little more umph on the low end and it doesn't lose anything on the top end. 1942 Paratrooper Handle bars: Hmmm, good.
