My Clutch :)

Hi Everyone,

Just Thought i would post my new clutch setup.
I loved the post so much i just had to ride down to my local bunnings (huge hardware out let in Au) to get the parts i required. i ride every where on my bike so this sounded like a real useful mod. Had a test ride wow it feels different :D Took around 1 hr to build still requires a few tweaks.

Nice Hackman. Did you fabricate that cable lock on the clutch lever?

This is exactly what I love about MBc. Everyone contributes a little at a time, getting a little better at a time. Then slowly, bit by bit we strive for perfection. Thanks to Large Filipino for sparking this great idea. graucho

Thanks graucho! I have this warm feeling inside when I see that idea done in Australia no way this could have been possible without MBc!
Yea that cable lock looks stock. Way cool for no losing that little stop nut.

the Bunnings Kit.

hey hackman, when I saw your pic, I recognised that angle bracket stuff from Bunnings myself, and then read you bought your kit there, which made me larf.:devilish:

Did you buy the wheel and bolts etc from Bunnings too ?

If so, could you let me know which aisle's as I can never find
anything there. They all look the same after a while, 60 aisles of
bits and pieces you're so tempted to buy...

my 1.5 cents worth.

WS.

You desreve a lot of credit for that large Phil. That is how it should have come in the first place. I'd bet that that wheel gives you a bit of "gearing" making it so easy.
Ten points for you guy, way to go!

brilliant idea! I'm off to go build one right now! probably going to have to make a roller though, nice wood one most likely. I'll put some pictures up soon.
Well thats my 2 pence worth (what does that even mean? keep hearing you americans saying it lol)

Thanks graucho! I have this warm feeling inside when I see that idea done in Australia no way this could have been possible without MBc!
Yessir... this Interweb is an amazing thing. Is it yet time to say the Internet is now a more influential invention than the Gutenberg press?? Methinks yes!
