Off the engine. It is the kind of light that normally runs off a friction generator. It has a 3 watt bulb, anything more than that draws too much from the motor.
Is that headlight any good on a pitch dark road on a moonless night? The white wire that comes out of the magneto gives out, I think, 0.5Amp and 7 volt current. Does anyone know a really decent headlight that will run off this current?
