Just Wanted To Reassure All Those Who Did Question The Fact That The " Felt 1903 " Motor Bike " Had To Have Been Re-painted Or Had Some Welding Involved In The Tank Sealing So That It Could Be Used For Holding Gasoline .
It Was Done W/ Out Any Welding Or Damage That Required Any Re Painting It Can Be Done I Have Done Many Of The Felt Bikes It Is Not A Easy Process But It Can Be Done For About Sixty Dollars .

Welcome. I love those Felt bikes. I do not doubt what you did with the tanks. Check out some of the Nirve Switchblades on here and you will see the same thing has been done. Awesome!!

Welcome HB

Great to haea Felt man on board. Start your own thread on your Felts. I think a lot of people here are wondering:
1. Is there room on the felt for a 4-stroke?
2. Mounting prpblems for 4-strokes and rear sprockets on coaster hubs etc.
From my attached pictute it seems that a 4-stroke won't quite fit below the top bar of the MP cruiser.

There are members here who have mounted the 4-stroke Grubee kits into the Felt frames. I do believe the fit is tight but can be done. The front triangle of the frame is wider down low and because of that the engine and motor mount can go lower than on your schwinn. Search for a thread called Felt V-10 4 Stroke and you should come up with a members bike with several photos in the picture gallery.
