Hello, my name is Nick, Im looking forward to my first build. I have not yet purchased a bike or motor. I am sure I can get much advice and help off this forum. I intend on building two bikes one for me and one for my wife. I am open to any and all suggestions. Thank you, Nick0D1 from KC :D

mucho gusto, nick

I live in the brookside/waldo area. I finished my first build about six weeks ago. Let us know how you're doing. Everybody here is interested in your success. I'd be glad to help in any way so let me know what I can do.

My real name is Steve,

The Plaza

Dude, I grew up three blocks off the Plaza. Know that area well. Summer job in College was Cab Driving for Toadman Cab. We did a lot of biz in Brookside and Waldo. I think my brother still owns a rent house up there.

WOOOOHOOOO!!!! Another from KC... Maybe it's time to schedule a meet? Let me get my Point Beach done... So how many from this area now?

Thank you all for making me feel very welcomed here. This makes me even more enthused knowing I have a bunch of people wanting me to be successful in my first build. I'm also excited that there is a couple of locals that can help me out because to be honest I'm not real mechanically inclined, but I am real open and can learn very fast, not to brag but I like to think I am a highly intelligent individual. I seriously look forward to meeting in person with those in the area real soon. Thank you ALL sincerely Nick.

You're obviously inteligent because you're thinking about motorizing bikes.

Hey motoschwinn, I think you've been here longer than any of us. Does that make three from KC all together or are there more?

Raytown Area

I'm from the Raytown area and am glad to see that I am not alone in the KC area with my creation. I must be the only one in Raytown though, 'cause everyone gives me this look like I just cruised by in a spaceship or something. My first build was on 6-14-08 and all is well so far.

I noticed there wasn't a group set up for the Kansas City area, so I created one. Please join the group or have others join if you know anyone else from the area.

Also, if anyone from the area would like to put a ride together to meet and check out each others bikes let me know. I noticed motoschwinn had mentioned that as well.

I live in Springfield, but spend a lot of time in KC with my girlfriend. We're there about every 2 weeks or so.
Anyway, I'd love to be able to check out some of these bikes that you all have built. I haven't decided on which 4-stroke and rack-mount, or electric kit I'd like to build yet.

But again, I'd love to be able to check out some of these bikes in person.
We'll actually be in KC next weekend, the 27th.

Take care,
Randy
