rubber spacer material for sprockets ?

any one have a good idea for a material for the rubber spacers @ the sprocket and spokes. the supplied ones i got where very uneven in thickness.
looks like mud flap to me .
 
I always figured it was a cut up old tire they used... The ones I got in my first kit were garbage.. totally uneven. Bolted the sprocket up and it had a 1/4" wobble in it. Found a better set out of another kit that i had bought, so used those instead.
 
Inner tube, old mouse pad, truck bed mat etc..........................
 
my holes did not line up in my recycled tire spacers, so i cut them into thirds to match the bracket. If you have a wobble, you didn't tighten your bolts evenly. Or if your spacers are uneven, then you have to custom tighten them. not hard, turn the bike over and spin the wheel, tighten the outer parts.
