Hey Guys,
Today I started installing my old Kings 80cc (3085mi) motor of off the 1973 Schwinn Suburban that it had resided on for 3 years, to the new bike, which I LOVE to death is the Schwinn Point Beach. SO light I can lift it with 2 fingers, and the brakes!!!! Anyway, the motor looked so nasty, I couldn't get it back bright after hours of scrubbing.... So I painted it.... Yeah yeah yeah I know about painting the motors but I did it anyway. I got a large frame adapter (boygofast on eBay) as I didn't want to drill the frame on a aluminum bike.
This summer will be spent getting everything sorted out, the usual problems that come with the UHT (Ultra Happy Time... I like this name) making sure everything is tight and adjusted. The fall and winter will be spent installing better cables, and a 12V lighting system. Plus the largest knobby tires I can find, front and back. Next year, a springer and a reserve tank.... And a back up block or two... Later Dudes!
So here is before, and the start of after....
