I am looking to buy a 2 stroke motorized bike engine but am not sure which is most reliable, so in the post if you want please let me know what type engine you got, where from, and guessed price is appreciated.

eh035 4cyl from staton inc, total cost to me $430 including shipping. You can see it here.

i see, friction drive I've heard they're really easy to use and seen some videos but, have heard some downers as if for riding in rain losing power and changing tires every thousand miles but I'm sure they get 250 mpg.

Well - I did buy a good tire (Kevlar) for my friction drive - seems to be lasting - good with around 500 miles - still looking pretty new. I haven't heard of anyone getting 250 mpg. I am thinking that 125 mpg would be VERY GOOD. Happy Riding from - Mountainman

250mpg was youtube stuff or some site, every engine set up has its ups and its downs, F-drive seems to be getting more popular, I've been watching this guys videos on youtube, hes got a bunch of videos of how to and test rides of friction drive most vids 5 star.

I have a 70cc 2 stroke kit from LiveFast, I replaced the carb with one from ThatsDax. It's on a 26" beachcruiser with apehangers and lowrider forks.

eBay

I bought my HT from powerking on ebay. $175 shipped, which I thought was a pretty good price. Quality was about what I expected. Engine fired right up and runs well. Anyone know of a better deal? I may want to build another. I've been thinking of spoiler...

I have a kingsmotorbike HT 80cc, fun lots of power but lots of vibes and noisy. Dirty too. I wouldn't trust it on a long ride but lots of people seem to go long distances on them.

I have a staton rackmount with Mitsubishi TLE43, Great little engine, very smooth and extremely reliable and quiet. I would suggest this but its more than double in cost. so its up to you
