Also I would guess that the billet wheels aren't really all that strong, considering the amount of material in them.
I would guess that the strongest setup would be to use 11/10g spokes, like the Worksmans or what some of the people around here have done with motorcycle spokes.
But even doing that just shifts the weakest spot from the spokes, to the hub.
I have a Worksman I cut up for my motorbike, and the 11g spokes are great but the hub is a regular Shimano 3-speed. The flange that the spokes hook into is no thicker than normal, and they drilled the spoke holes bigger to get the monster spokes in.... And the wheel's bearings are no bigger than usual either....
