Hi Oldmanpaintball and others who are interested. Attached are pics of my first build. The exhaust is interfering with my pedals and it is making contact with my front frame. I noticed in the pics of your very handsome Manhattan Cruiser that you spliced in an extension to your exhaust. My engine is the 47cc with an exhaust pipe the same as yours. I was wondering what type of pipe and where did you get this pipe extension piece ? I'd appreciate your help any any advice on the weld. See pics.

PS My complements on your build. I plan on copying your frame colors and seat coverings as my next project if this build of mine turns out well.

Thanks Stude13. I considered that and was kind of scared of it because the exhaust pipe is so blasted thick. The tube OD is about 7/8" while the wall thickness is probably .050-.070 in. If your tube is about the same dimensions and you were successful let me know and I'll reconsider. Thanks ! I appreciate your advice. I'm new to all this.

I use my torch on exhausts ..... heat that baby up red hot on the exhaust tube and bend it any way you want.
