Not a monster bike...just a monster bike enthusiast. Introduced my friend to motorized bikes and he can't stop aquiring and building them.
First was a Walmart Huffy. I gave him a Paul Frank helicopter (cruiser) bike and he went crazy. It didn't take him long to motorize it. He was in walmart the other day and there was a Schwinn Rule hiding behind all the other bikes. Needless to say, he rode it out of the store. At first he though I would like it or another one of his friends, but by the time he got it home...he was hooked on that bike.
Check out my gallery for a couple of pics. I guess I have to take some pics of my own bike now.

Note: All bikes are built with 80cc(?) Ebay PowerKing motors, which I purchased wholesale from Powerking.

Bettio, please allow me to post this pic.

That's my bike!

I was told it couldn't be done!

(this was my very first thread BTW)

So I gave it a rack mount and called it Cronus!

Since posting the picture of it on the bench, the bike is finally running.
Things to make it work
1) Remove material from motor mounts to drop engine as far down as possible and get longer studs for front mount.
2) Use a copper "45 degree street elbow" for a carburator adapter to offset carb towards crank sprocket side.
3) Remove large spark plug connector and use a clip-on type.
4) Insulate frame in area of spark plug to keep spark from jumping to frame. You can glue on some pieces of rubber inner tube where the plug goes between frame members. Very Important!
5) Make extra large gas tank straps out of flat aluminum stock.

I will post pics and close-ups soon.

Bike runs great, but springer front end is a bit shakey.

i cant find the picks bro.. i have this same bike and i gotta see how you pulled it off :D

nm i found em.. that looks hard for my first build =0 .. i almost like the paul frank bike better.. wheres that from?

I bought the Paul Frank (Nirve) helicopter bike on Craigslist for $80.00. I gave it to my friend and he motorized it. I do some of the work in my shop, like boring out the rear sprockets and stuff and my friend did all the rest. I purchased all of the engines (about 6 of them) from Powerking.
I don't have a pic of my bike, which is an old Ross mountain bike. Also built is an oldere Schwinn that was made in Hungary. Usually there is not enough room in the frame, but that old Schwinn had too much room!

You have to start by removing some material in the motor mount area until it sits as low as possible, just so the spark plug just fits between the upper tubes.
Then you have to get an adapter made of copper plumbing fittings. 45 degree street elbow. This puts the carb outside of the frame area. Then it is pretty much a standard build.
Please note that some rubber insulation material has to be installed around the spark plug, because the original plug connection has to be removed and replaced with a ring type spark plug connector.
