WARNING!!!!!----Spark Plug Problem

There is just no excuse for that. Wow.

You should alert your vendor so he can alert their supplier being that there's numerous suppliers apparently in China.

Does anyone know if the manufacturers get any product feedback, officially ?
I know it sounds like a daft question, but if they are not getting any feedback comminication, then they think everything is ok.
I change all possibles to with every new kit, take nothing for granted.
Once you get it right, they run fine and just keep going without any problems, it's just getting it right though.

Aha! I wasn't the only one that happened to! I guess when you get a new motor, go ahead and blow a couple of bucks on an NGK or Champion plug - lots cheaper than a new piston.

Just when i thought quality control standards couldn't slip further they've lowered the bar.

Yeah, I had one do that as well. I would run but misfire. The combustion pressure would push the electrode up to open the gap and make connection at times. other times it wouldn't fire.

Took me a bit to find that one because when you look at the plug you usually turn it upside down and it would look ok. But when you turn it down the gap would close up. crazy stuff.

The small engine dealer next door had never seen that either and i'm pretty sure they change a lot of plugs.
