How I locked my Bike to a Standard Outdoor Garden Tap.

hey - will start

I guess that I don't spend a lot of time on my computer (just mainly this site)
I haven't even been to google maps
there's so much to be doing -- as we all know

the getting older (Mountain mind) is just not clicking with your wall concrete issue
there are at least - several - good ways to anchor THAT THING
Iam sure that many more thoughts will be rolling in

always nice in the morning when we are heading out to our MB to

find that thing and ride it

Hey MM,
I like the way you change your quote each time.
I may have to borrow that approach its way cool.

I work in IT, so I'm on the PC all day long...

If you know a secure way to create an anchor on a wall
let me know !!! Please.

So I can lock that thing down,
then ride that thing, to work at my carp IT job.

(doesn't seem to have the same ring to it you got going.)

I glued a gate hasp to a concrete foundation wall using Perma-Weld a while back, then bent an 18" pry bar trying to get it back off later. Never did break the base plate loose.

I feel the love :)

Hey ALL, I can feel the love. Thanks alot guys.

are you allowed to drill a hole or holes into the wall ?
guess that's the first -- big question
as she (my motor bike said last night) get it up and ride that thing

Its best that I don't drill holes, but its an option if I ask the real-estate,
which requires extra effort...Not the best route.

This idea I like best. I'll see if I can get an equivalent product at a hardware
store. I then just have to get a sturdy wall plate, and glue that thing down.
This is the best idea for anyone of our members too, as it requires
no special tools, just a hardware store visit. thanks lot SS :D

NO - I THINK ALL HE'S GOT IS A CONCRETE WALL GOT ANY ANCHOR TO CONCRETE IDEAS LARGE ????
as all go on our way and ---- ride that thing

I've actually got an entrance-way, which is inside the building.
So I am best off parking there as its off the street.

Locks are only for honest people...
I'd take it inside.

My point exactly. Locks keeps opportunistic thiefs away only.
Anyone serious can get through any standard bike lock you put there.

I can't take it inside the house, as its a 2 bedroom unit, and its up 6 flights of stairs. IE 60 steps, and my bike weighs 45kg.

So, over the weekend, I'm going to visit the hardware and get meself
a anchor and some concrete glue. I'll take pics and re-visit.

Thanks alot for the ideas all.
It'll keep my bike secure and help me <-----------> ride that thing.

A pit bull idea...

Buy A pit bull and move him in with your bike !!!!

Well, the light switch in the room broke, so I'd have the RSPCA after me
for mistreatment to animals. Maybe you're into that Seanhan, but I prefer my animals happy. I think I'll go with the concrete glue and anchor idea above :p
