Howdy!

With my past motorcycles, I always replaced the handlebars on those with rather bland and uninteresting-looking bars. (Like the Whizzer's)

I've always preferred bars with a rise, such as a medium Buckhorn or other riser-types.

My question is: Can bars with tight curves be threaded through the stock Whizzer gooseneck?

The new bars will be 7/8", just like the Whizzer's.

Thanks...

Hal, I replaced mine with half-moon bars without trouble. But then again, I also swapped the Whizzer gooseneck for a classic Schwinn-style gooseneck. I seem to remember that the Whizzer one was wider where the bar goes through, so it might be a bit harder to work with.

Hi I put 1/2 moon bars on mine, and a 99, worked just fine, got to drill locating holes for the control stops tho.

That's Strange!

My Whizzer's gooseneck is 1-7/16" wide at the clamping section.

My Schwinn Classic Cruiser's gooseneck is 1-9/16" wide at the clamping section!

That's 1/8" WIDER!
