Hi, Glad I found this site! Tons of info on a cool little hobby,I'll be reading for weeks. Getting my first kit soon and can't wait to tinker with it.

Thanks in advance for all my future questions!

John.....

Hello John and welcome !

Its good to see another CT. member here. I will be starting my build soon also. What Part of Ct you from? I am central Ct Near Meriden.

Hey Skip, I'm in Bristol. What kind of setup do you plan on building? It's pretty hilly here in Ct. & I'm a big guy so I also ordered Sick Bikes kit for my build.

Thanks BlueGoat, I will be sure to post my build in detail.

Terrence, Yes it gets COLD here, I hope to get to log some miles before it snows!

I plan on a cruiser ala Schwinn, Columbia, etc, I plan on riding it to work and just cruising the neighborhoods. I can avoid most of the hills and the rest Ill peddal up like I do already :D

From CT Also

Hey Little John, I built a 66cc Cruiser bike about 1-1/2 ago, A blast to ride, but please be patient, these 2cycle motors take a few tanks to fully break in. Mine finally has enough power to take me up some pretty steep hills in Oakville where I live. Just remember to always check for loose bolts, I lost one of my gas tank straps, last weekend. Try to use lock tite on prone areas that loosen. I learned my lesson! Any way enjoy your build. I did mine in a weekend taking my time.. Take care and welcome! Strato-blaster---John
