Hi guys, starting the hard task to project and build a motored cruiser here in the corner of europe - Portugal.

For the bike i'm thinking in the Schwinn Heavy Duti , that i have to order from Netherlands.

" Heavy Duti -Classic ?32 designed Schwinn Camel Back frame featuring dual top tubes for added strength. Schwinn scooped stainless steel fenders and Rust Proof chain. Heavy Duti cruiser tires with thorn resistant tubes. Corrosion resistant alloy wheels with 12g stainless steel spokes for added toughness. Classic Schwinn 2-spring saddle for sofa-like comfort. B.E.D. coated handlebars, stem, crank, chainwheel & seatpost for corrosion resistance. Shimano coaster brake provides sure stops. "

For the engine, i'm thinking in a chinese 2 stroke engine, but getting it from the US is not a option due to customs/import/costs issues, so i need ur help to spot a EU distributor of an HT 49 cc.

For the assembly, a frame mount design, where torque and not speed is the concern due to the big hills of my town - aiming a 25 mph top speed.
4 the tank im thinking in building a small one to fit in the middle of the two top tube's, like the old lovely schwinn's.

apreciate ur input on my ideas and links to european/uk HT 2 stroke engines distributers/sellers- please no ebay sellers.

PM me you full address and I will get you a cost on shipping It cant be to bad worth a shot anyways!

the Nirve B-1 is a good candidate too; i am not decided yet;

Another question im my mind is the coaster brake and single speed, is there any limitation with that? cause ive never ride a bike with that type of brakes. already tought to use a front fork with disk brake for extra security, and the single speed conf would allow to upgrade to a Nuvincy cvt + jackshaft transmition.

Definitely use a front brake of some kind. Coaster brakes can overheat and exhaust residue on the rear wheel rim can reduce v-brake stopping power. I like to use front drums because they fit any fork. LOL

you might check with members, Hammer or vax.

I found mine in the USA...imported several years ago, by Grubee.

russian d engines seems to be quite popular in east european countries like Estónia, Hungria. I found several youtube videos about races of motored bicycles in Estónia, but i'm still searching. Any succefull contact will posted here prontly.
