Dax engine quality?

What do people know about the quality of dax engines? I looked on their site and they seemed pretty cheap.
Also does anyone know of a cheap (cheaper than gebe) belt drive kit?

Don't know of any other belt drive out there...
Dax has a nice chain drive that is priced pretty low for what you get.
