Ok guys,
I did my first build over christmas break, everything is ready and pretty much everything is installed, but I have a no start condition.
I don't think I installed the clutch cable right. As soon as I put in the spark plug and the engine goes through its first stroke, compression builds, and the wheel becomes VERY hard to turn with the clutch arm engaged or disengaged. I've heard some people mention "pedal mode". I don't have that. If I press the engager it's always hard to turn. I pushed my bike down my sloped driveway once. With a lot of force I was able to get the wheels turning. It sounded like the engine was started, but I new it was just being pushed through its stroke. No actual ignition.
So this is my first question...can someone post a picture of there clutch arm engaged and disengaged. i really think I installed it wrong, because I have no "pedal mode" One thing I noticed I did wrong was I had the second spring between the arm and the thing you feed the cable through...
After I fix the clutch problem, I doubt the engine will still start. What setting should the carb's choke be on. I can't read chinese. Should it be in the middle? I know the engine is getting gas, because after turning the wheel maybe 100 times I had drop or two of unburnt oil leaking from the exhaust tailpipe.
Things I know:
-I'm getting spark (uncompressed). I've pulled the plug and witnessed it when spinning the wheel.
-Maybe I don't have the right fuel mixture? I poured in the blue synthetic oil first, THEN the gas. After that, I opened the fuel tanks opener and watched a blue liquid that looks like only the oil feed its way to the carb. There has to be gas in there too, right? It wouldn't cause the engine from firing?
Thanks for your help guys,
-Patrick
