My NEW and improved push trailer connection....

It's the brick outhouse construction and will last for awhile, wether you will is another matter.Welding can lead to embrittlement, how thick is that bottom frame tubing?.I wish you had used through bolts and a rubber bushing to get a more flexible connection at the bottom attachment point.Would have cut down on the vibes too. 45 degree downward lateral stays from the down tube to the bottom frame sides angled towards the rear would not have hurt either, improving front /aft stiffness and reducing flexing.Remember if you make part of a structure stiffer (the attachment boom),more of the flexing&vibration will be absorbed by other parts of the structure!(The bottom connection)

I plan to clean up the welds a little with a grinder

You've had SOME practice!!! Nice!!

now... IM 0ther HO..... :
the only stress point I see is where your trailer attaches to your bike. I think this should rotate freely Left & Right....and allow for some up & down movement.
maybe one of these. http://www.bryke.com/300-107/Male+Heims.html
3/4" might be overkill,,,, but would be sturdy.

just a thought.... ride safe!!

It does swivel left and right fairly easily. When riding... even in most turns it stays pretty lined up... main time it swivels is if I am going slow... just turning the bike.
