Links to eBay may include affiliate code. If you click on an eBay link and make a purchase, this forum may earn a small commission.
cool thanks guys I'll have to check the hardware stores around here. How do you guys switch out links at home, i usually have to take it to a bike shop.

Yes ELBEEFO like the Mountainman said a chaintool is a must in your tool box if your going to be messin with these bikes.
The chain tool (in easy terms) grabs/holds the link while it you turn a small threaded rod that pushes the link pin out from the existing link. Making the link fall apart nice and neat. There are different styles that work a little different but thats the basic principal. If this makes sence? LOL

I like my chain when I ride that thing

yes graucho -- that explains the chain tool thing pretty well

once one has used one a few times -- as you know
just like most things
gets pretty darn fast

even with standard chains that use connecting chain master lenks
not a bad idea to eliminate those masters using the chain tool so as solid chain

because -- I like my chain when I ride that thing

You can find master links locally, maybe some half links.

We have a variety of links and a reasonably priced custom chain tool.

SBP chain stuff
