Hi Steve
The cover is only 2" wide from the back of the backing plate to the front.
the cover extends behind the backing plate making the edge a little wider, about 2 1/4"

but the transmission only adds 2" to the width of the motor.

I don't think it changed to what I have on my transmission and
it is possible to make the drive a little thinner.

The cover is not the final production cover and the kit for sale here
is a beta kit that the dealers got.

Steve if you have any more questions, please fire away :D

The sprocket is center punched for drilling out for a Disk brake hub. This is the way to go if you have the wheel. I built one up for my bike and it should be nice. I have never had any trouble with the standard rubber mount rings to spokes and at 250 lbs I am pleased that the key as always for wheel strength is true and evenly tensioned spokes.

ok, i'm willing to say camera angle, but the pic on the order sit esure looks fatter than the one on Q's bike right under it.

forbisher, no axe to grind or pikes to throw buddy, just an idle observation.

It's actually from resizing the pic when I inserted into the website. The pic I posted in this thread was taken at the same time but from another angle and not resized.
