no spark!! on new build

this is my 3rd build.
bike isnt getting spark. we swaped out the cdi with 1 off my other bike. still no spark! we took off the side cover to inspect the magneto and the armature (magnet rotor?) had come apart and sheered off at the mounting stud. Is this replacable or do i need a replacement motor?

Wow! Is it a new motor? I'd have the vendor swap it out!

fresh motor. out of the box. what a bummer! i emailed the seller hope he responds soon.

the gas tank had a pin hole also. I had to jb weld it!

Who did you buy from? I definitely would not want to use them if they don't replace it.

Ya that is a bad crank, don't even try to fix it. Your vendor needs to just replace it. Be sure to mention you posted on this forum for opinions. The vendors know they get alot of exposure both good and bad here. Tell them you'll post how they helped you make it right. It will help if they give you a hard time at all.

I would not try to 'muscle' the seller..... give him a fair chance to make this right.
& a good vendor will, make it right.

got in touch with the seller and he is sending me a replacement no charge.told me to keep the bad one for spare parts. sweet. for $15 bucks he said he would priority mail it so hopefully i will have it for the weekend.
