Does anyone have any good ideas (or pics) for a discreet gas tank for the HT engine? It's ok if it is smaller than the tank that comes with the kit, I think the teardrop tank makes it look like a motorcycle and am trying to think of a good idea for a discreet tank.

THANKS!

any pics??? :giggle:

Where would I get the cylinder? Something like a stainless steel drink bottle?

There is always e-bay, type in vintage gas tank most of the hits will be older motorcycle tanks but there are usually some older lawnmower/garden tool gas tanks there as well. If it were me I'd go to the local small engine repair/lawn mower repair shop and see if they had anything that would work. There is also a tank that mounts to a rear rack (supplied w/tank) available from a couple of kit suppliers. Most recently I've seen these offered by[ Boy Go Fast on e-bay.

This is the tank i use(2 litre)...with luggage it looks even less conspicuous as a fuel tank.

For heavy duty stealth though i'de go with something like a 1 litre stainless steel tank, any configuration as long as it could breathe....petcock optional.

Neo,

There is a 96 ounce poly fuel tank hidden inside of the lunch bag zip tied to the rack.

With your legs straight down next to the engine, no one will ever know it is motorized!

Where did you get the fuel tank?

I bought it from Ebay, do a search for 96 ounce fuel tank!

Forum member "PORKCHOP" just bought the same one from the same guy off of Ebay like mine. The first tank he got leaked a little, after an email to the seller he gladly sent him a replacement tank for free!

Not to mention the added distance you can go with 3/4 gallons of fuel...
