Looks like a new motored bicycle vender is trying to get up and running.
I wish them luck... I miss the real mopeds...(NEED THE PEDALS.)
Dont know anything other then the picture... I hope the motor is something other then chinese...

I would pay the extra for a quality European or Japanese motor.

I have been stating for a while now
hang in there MB riders
there will be many new manu factors getting into the market soon

wish that I would have noted where I saw the cool looking Japanese motorized bicycle
brand new -- nice -- quality built -- 1,500 to 2,000 dollars

this company may understand service

I sent them an e-mail -- asking -- where's that motor thing made ??

e-mail sent to them -- they already got back with me

they are testing at this time

Swedish Husquarna 47.3cc 4hp
and
Japanese Echo 50cc 5hp

expect delievery in US 2010

cost 1,300 delievered

those engines are known to run -- next to -- forever -- with -- no problems
even though I perfer the 2-strokes
these sound to be nice -- thinking that I would like to have one of those things ??
been waiting for MB #2 -- these sound hot and going to be ready !!

It'll be interesting to see how this goes if capitalized manufacturers enter the marketplace. It might smooth the ways for MBs in general or cast the DIYer in a bad light.

The photoshop job is hilarious! Doesnt seem to be more than a mountain bike and motor that doesnt fit between the frame. lol

Exactly.

.....reinventing the way people move. In 2009 the United Kingdom will be the first to experience the future of hybrid pedal and motorised transport in time for the London 2012 Olympics.

SlangBoom is in the process of sourcing partners to supply components and technology prior to market delivery of the first model of the SlangBoom moped range.

SlangBoom is the novel reinvention of the 49cc moped using advanced pedal cycle technology and will enter the High Street in the summer of 2009.

Nice find. Looks expensive, but it appears that it would not require license and tag in AZ. (a big plus)

well -- I wouldn't be too surprized to see this thing up and running soon
it's not rocket science needed to build a nice motorized bicycle

have been saying for a while now
may only be time until we see the big boys get back in -- Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, euro models also ??
these guys would blow most others away
not only in product -- but -- they know all about true service....

ride that thing

That's one cool ride !!!
But I thought my GEBE was expensive !!!
I prob, won't be getting one...
But if I win the Lotto ... Well>>>>>>>

The big guys still make mopeds they just don't incorporate pedals and made them step-thru instead. Ack!
I wouldn't get too excited about this company just yet.. Not at least until they can show some kind of prototype. I mean the revopower wheel had many working units and they still didn't come through for the MB world. Very sad.
