I dont know about anyone else but since Ive been riding my bike I have been amazed of the stuff on the side of the road.

My dirty mag collection (some really cool ones) has grown dramatically thanks to guys throwing them out the window. Im figuring they look at them and toss them so their wives dont find them.

Today I found a brand new street directory.

Anyone else found anything pretty cool?

The only downside was someone the other day threw their lunch at me.

Getting lost pays, I was trying to find my way back to a highway in the next county over, the pavement turned to dirt, and rather than U-turn, I plowed ahead, and when it came to a fork, I took what looked like a road, but was a 3 mile long driveway.

When turned around to head back, and got to the junction, I spotted some old copper tubing. This was when the price was sky high.

The bike I was riding had no basket, but I was wearing my backpack. I got off the bike, was going to simply foldup the two pieces, found there was a whole lot more, kind of piled amidst 3 wild hedges.

A meth-heads stash!!

So, I headed home, returned the next day on Rocinante and a pair of metal cutters and a garbage bag.

I netted a little over $23 next time I made a recycling run.

Also found a toolbelt with a small peen hammer and small pliers within 10 feet of the leather kit, and probably 20 bungie cords over the years.

So it was you that stole our copper water pipes. When we moved into our new house, turned on the taps and guess what, no water. Didnt need another bill like that after forking out a 200 grand.

Yeah but did he take your porn?

Seriously I found a Greenlee hacksaw and some metric wrenches.

Lots of tools, mostly odds and ends but recently a complete rail of Snap-On deep well 8-18 mm metric sockets. Of course, if I could only find the rightful owner but alas it's a very busy road.......

Not sure if anyone here has heard the term "Porn Brothers".

Basically you tell your mate where you have hidden your porn stash. Your mate tells you wheres his is kept. If one of you die you go to your their place and get the porn out before the family discover it and find out you are a deviate.

Your Porn Brother gets to keep the porn.

I think its a great arrangement and everyone is a winner.

not sure where they came from ??
a while back I was seeing many spark plugs on the side of out road ways ??
it's not like these things just fall out ??
thinking that someone had a bucket full driving around throwing them at things ??
or maybe they droped out of a used car repair flatbed truck ??
it was strange seeing a spark plug every few miles !!
