I don't fool with the " Unhappy Times Kits." I like older kits, or Japanese powered . I cannot stand something unreliable. Someone above said to " buy 3 just to keep one going, " & I feel that is true for most of these cheap kits. I saw some the other day for $99 shipped ! At that price, you know they cannot be any good !
Caveat empor= buyer beware !

Thanks for the reply. And yes, that's the kit I have now. I'm well pleased with mine. I have only about 200 miles on it, but no problems what so ever so far ! For $119.00, I'd say you got a great deal.

If installed correctly, the HT engine is pretty reliable. I recommend you get one from a reputable vendor who has a warranty and try again. Also, try to read up on many of the common issues and try it again with improved mounting hardware and installation techniques.

For engine oil: Maxima 927 at 5 oz per gallon is all you need to prevent lubrication failure.

Thanks Skyliner thats real nice of you but Im in Australia and Im figuring the freight would be more than a reputable kit. I bought my kit from Gasman bikes here local to me. Im not sure of the brand but the engine had the roller bearing top end etc. I build cars, bikes and boats for a living so Im figuring I should know what I am doing. When the thing was running right it was going real well. I was consious of not over revving it pulling the clutch in down hill etc.
By the way what is a good kit? They all claim theirs is the best.

I recently rebuilt a Rolls Royce Merlin engine and its working fine.
You can see it run on you tube. Just type in Aggressor 10 starts 10 wins.

I also ran a boat in a 70 mile race up our local river and won my class. I held a 350 chev flat for 1 hour. It needs rebuilding now. Im pulling it out today to run next weekend.

It can be hit or miss on a HT engine. Most are good but every once in a while you get a lemon. Sucks that you got a real bad one.
