ok so i think im going to step up the serious reality of why im doing this and do a real MB.
id like to use a 6.5HP CM (honda clone).
i was thinking of frame mounting this with a friction drive to keep the center of gravity low but im having trouble envisioning this. number one, i know that the frames going to have some pretty extensive welding done to it. number two i need to pedal it. im thinking ill use a mountain bike with front suspension and mount the roller behind the bottom bracket in permanant contact with the tire, (tight enough that ill have to almost flatten the tire to install the wheel)

i guess the only concern im having at this point is clearance on the right side of the bicycle with the crank arms and where my feet naturally need to be to pedal? should i just build a push trailer? the point of doing this is so i can do a regular long distance commute without issues.. hm. one wheeled push trailer?

Just the engine. It's a Lifan engine. It's modified with bypassed governor for more HP and 5200RPM. It's a bit scratched and rough looking, but runs as good as the day I bought it.
