I love my felt... I have pretty much the exact setup you just described but add a nuvicci hub. For this setup the nuvinci hub is a must because the stock felt hub is very weak from the factory and will break within the first hundred miles. That is a very expensive bike to build an MB... you do know it will get scratched and generally abused pretty hard.

here is a link to what I got... feel free to ask any ???'s...

I like the bike.
Think give me vtec is right about the hub.
Are those disc brakes ? is there going to be a problem there ? Can you use a clamshell hub and sprocket.
Good luck with the build. Your heading in the right direction.

The disk brakes would be great as my felt doesn't have any brakes at all. If you want to keep the rear brake... you are going to have to use the sick bikes kit. The nuvinci hub has a mount for the disk as long as the bike has a mount for the caliper.

Hard to go wrong with a Felt.
You can add a sprocket to the left side with an adapter and still use the disk brake if you have to postpone getting the shift kit for a while.

If you are going to buy a $1000+ bike... you might as well spend the xtra $200 to make it work right. Thats just half-a**'d.
