I want to lubricate my clutch ball bearings but i my kit didnt have a puller and tbh i dnt wanna buy one. Does anyone know the thread size of the puller so that i can make my own. if i manage it i will post pictures and instructions.
Im sure we can make something much better than the stock one if someone attempted it.

are you talking about the 56 bearings that lie between the middle wheel that rolls with the chain (small wheel with posts for clutch plate) and the big gear with pads?

If so i found that taking a can of aerosol lithium grease and flattening the little straw can allow you to grease these bearings.

Taking the straw and simply shoving it into the crevice between these two wheels allows for easy greasing

I completely stopped the annoying squeak that came with my engine after many hours of searching then fixing the cause through this method

Thanks Matty, you may have just made my engine last a lot longer.
But is there any danger of getting lube on the clutch surfaces with your technique?

Well if you are careful about pressing the button very lightly then no

The only risk comes in the form of you smashing the button down and grease flying everywhere, which is very unlikely to happen

Try testing how hard your bottle forces the grease out on something other than the clutch first so you can check what the best button pressure/position is
