many sites say they cant ship to CA.

yes. and many of those say they wont ship to california. my question is why
 
It's Californian law isn't it....exactly why i don't know........possibly it's got to do with supporting local vendors.
 
I think it has more to do with California's engine emissions standards. I am not really sure though. Im sure you can contact one of the dealers and they could explain the situation.
 
many people in CA have them. anyone on here live and CA? let me know what site you got your kit off of
 
its all about the emissions standards in cali. it is illegal to sell them in cali but not to possess them (funny). but there are some sponsors here that will , just have to look for them. one them is not far from me and i just go pick up kits at the wharehouse.

Just goes to show you how stupid (not just) California's politicians are. You can drive around in a $63,000.00 Hummer with what 16MPG average but not a $130.00 HT with 100MPG.

Also goes for quite a few auto aftermarket engine parts as well.
