I cannot believe that even with such a bad economy that California would prohibit the best American Whizzer motorbike the sportsman from being sold in our state. Many of my relatives now call us the commy stateand it is no wonder why.

California is definitely the commie state... but not because we cant buy a whizzer motorbike.

very true

True but I won't get started on all the reasons. We all know its bad out here.

I got out [moved to South-Eastern Washington] 20 years ago. I go back every year or so to visit. It's now a LOT worse. The wisdom remains the same since the Little Big Horn, "Save the last bullet for yourself".

yes the truth is -- Calif will probably never be the same

if the cowboys could only see what's going on here

would have been best to surrender to any and all Indians

of course the same could be said for the whole country now

The nanny state nutballs always seem to concentrate on the coasts it seems. They just love to dictate what you can and can't do all in the name of "public safety".

It is why I say that you should stand against anti-smoking laws, and gun control laws. Because even if you don't smoke or desire to own a gun, it won't be long until they will be coming after something YOU love. In this case, the motorized bike.

we dont have any control over the anti-smoking, gun, or any other laws... they just pass em and the idiots in LA and san fran keep electing the people doing it.

For the record I like the anti-smoking ban in restaurants.

Back in the 70's I used to smoke up a storm with everyone else watching martial arts movies in downtown Oakland. The cloud of blue green smoke and the smell of grass and tobacco really made the movies interesting. It was just a $1 for 3 features that ran over and over all day long.

I got out of the Corps and out of CA, just before things started to go really red. I have more freedom in the conservative state of AZ than I would in the "Bear" state. Interesting Russia and California are both signified by bears.

.......For the record I like the anti-smoking ban in restaurants.

At least here in NJ, there was a law that restaurants needed to provide a "non-smoking" section. Then, they just banned smoking in restaurants, and bars altogether.

I would prefer if there was no ban, and if someone didn't want to go to a restaurant because they allowed smoking, then they could choose not to go there. It is a private business, and the decision to allow smoking should be left up to the business owner. If he feels that he will get more business if he bans smoking, then he should be able to ban smoking.

Cheer when they ban something that you agree with, but then you'd better keep quiet when they ban something you like.
