Sprockets Sprocket issue on rear heavy duty hub

I recently purchased a 2 stroke Phantom 2 kit (50cc) for my single speed Schwinn cruiser. A local bike shop relaced the new heavy duty hub (Which is free-wheel) to my rear rim. The rear sprocket for the engine drive chain threads onto the hub (Rather than to the spokes themselves) The problem is that my original rear sprocket (pedal chain side) doesn't fit the hub and the one at the bike shop (Free-wheel) screwed on, but was too wide. I can't figure out how the heck to solve the problem. I'd really appreciate any suggestions if you've ever dealt with such an issue.

Thanks

Hub issue

I have solved the problem. The manufacturer got back to me and there is a part sold by them that solves my problem. Thanks!

I ran into the same prob

ON my schwinn landmark build I bought the part from the same place the manufacturer sells. What a mistake costed me 25 dollars because of high price on shipping but then found out they mailed it in a falt rate $5 usps box. I paid 14$ shipping though. I was upset they would take advantage of us like this.

When you use the h d axle kit you cant reuse your original sprocket from a ten speed setup you have to purchase a single gear sprocket otherwise it just won't work!

Where did you get your hub from the manufacturer?

I should have ordered it when I bought my phantom kit back in Nov. but thought maybe the one I had would work. WRONG!!!!

They make it to where if you have a multiple speed bike when you try to reuse the big set of gears that came with your bike (Pedal Side) on their hub it screws on but then hangs over mounting bolt and you don't have enough bolt sticking out to be able to mount their hub onto your frame.

What they should tell people when ordering a heavy duty axle kit is that they will need a different sprocket if they have a multiple speed bike. I am not sure if a single speed sprocket (that comes with your bike) will fit it or not though.
