Need help with an HF 79cc

Hello All,

Need help here, can someone give me the measurements on the HF 79cc 2.5hp engine?

The only ones at the local HF store were all boxed up and I could not measure one in person, and can not find measurements for it in the owner manual.

If you could, measure it without the gas tank on it, as this will be relocated in my project...

Can we call the measurement of "width" being front pull start cover to backside of engine "minus" the shaft sticking out...

I got 8 inches wide without the output shaft.
9 " high to the top of the spark plug boot (8 without), and 12.5 long.

What do you have planned for that 79cc engine? I have a 199cc from harbor freight that one day I a plan to make a pusher trailer with.

I have planned a frame mount with this engine and a 5/8" centrifugal clutch with the HD timing belt sprocket compliments of max torque, I believe that is who makes them.

As my welding skills are somewhat questionable to say the least, I am going to see a local welder to see about having the frame stretched maybe ~ 6 to 9 inches and having a mounting plate welded into the frame for the engine to mount to.
