Love my eBike --> New to the Forum

Hello,
I'm new to the forum, but very familiar with the format as I also fly RC gliders and the RcGroups forum is almost identical to this format.

Just bought a currie eZip Trailz, and being a true techie, of course I want to modify it.

Welcome to the forum. A second IZIP battery will give you more range. To go faster, you will probably need 36v/20AH batteries and a 36 volt controller. It's not cheap, but you RC guys don't have a problem with spending money.

You would be better off joining endless sphere forum for advice on electrics, there is alot of rc group members there already rc motors are getting popular on ebikes.

Endless-Sphere offers more technical and brand specific info, but this site has more bike culture. There are a lot of details and improvisations on these gas assisted bikes that can benefit e-bike builders.

they're great stuff

I am a member of MANY different forum sites and I have only seen one or 2 at the max other sites with a different format than this one

I think someone has a near monopoly on this forum software stuff

kinda like windows and home computers
