Workings of a boost bottle question?

Does any combustion (fire, or explosion) go into the bottle itself? I have an idea to be able to utilize a pressure source, Feed back to intake. And the feed back pressure to load the boost bottle is ??? Any body have an answer?

Dan, I make my own boost bottles (PVC). It connects to a brass fitting threaded into the intake manifold, so unless you have a backfire the answer is no. It's not a pressure source you are looking at it's a vacuum source.
