Hi, i have a 66cc Grubee SkyHawk GT5, and the Clutch arm wont stay in place, and pops out. anyone know why this is and what i need to replace to fix it? (would this have anything to do with the bucking bar? (the thing in the center of the little sprocket on motor) Also, anyone know where i can get a 415 Heavy Duty Chain? I've waited over 2 Months for gasbike.net to stock them, and they are still out of stock. Thanks.

As far as the chain, check Tractor Supply (this is #41 chain) http://www.tractorsupply.com/agricu...ains-accessories/roller-chain-size-41-1150052 if you have one close by. I think they also ship. What do you mean "Pops out". From what I envision, you need to remove the clutch arm (remove nut and pry off) and rotate it clockwise. If you need a longer bucking bar, buy a drill bit the correct diameter and cut to length.

by pops out i mean the whole thing comes right out of the gearbox. it's as if nothing is holding it in. the guys i have working it said the dole was missing (round thing in the center of the sprocket with nut) is this the bucking bar? so he made a new one. everything seemed to run fine except the chain keeps breaking, and the clutch arm (along with little bar that goes in the gear box) all keeps popping out.

If the arm that the cable attaches to and the release lever that the arm bolts to, that goes down into the sprocket cover, is just lifting up and out of the cover then the small "cross pin" as you referred to is missing.
It is located half way to the bottom of the hole, slightly off center, that the release lever goes into and is held in place with a small dab of epoxy. Sometimes the pin is not installed by the factory, sometimes they forget the dab of epoxy, and sometimes they do not even drill the cover to accept the retaining pin.

ok so what should i do to fix/replace this? is there a cross pin i can buy?

You can use a nail that fits snugly in the hole, cut down to size. Cut it short enough to allow a teeny bit of room in the hole for epoxy to hold it in place. It won't take much.
If you want stellar durability of the pin, use a Dremel with a cut off wheel and cut the shank off of a drill bit instead of a soft nail.

I understand your problem completely now, although I haven't ever seen or heard about it. In the first picture you will see the cover and arm. The blue arrow points to some type of cover for the pin (glob of something), and the red line is where the pin rides, keeping the arm in place. There are a number of ways to fix this problem. Here are two....First being to take a chisel and knock off that cover "glob". If there is in fact a hole there go to a auto parts/Home Depot/Lowe's and buy a split pin. Measure how long you need it, cut to fit and use a drill to drill out the hole larger or drill a hole and tap the split pin in. Do this with the arm in. It can be done with the arm out but you might tap too far. Make sure arm moves freely. The other thing you can do is drill, tap and insert a set screw. There is plenty of room under the cover so a little extra length won't hurt.

As stated above a nail or drill bit will do but with a split pin no gluing is needed... Personally I'd go the split pin route.

Looks like most points are covered. Just a couple more. By 'dole' I suppose you mean 'dowel'. Yep, that's the bucking-bar.

I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but behind the bucking-bar, there's supposed to be a ball bearing. ie. The ball bearing goes in first, then the bucking bar goes in.
If the bucking-bar has fallen out, then chances are that the ball bearing has also fallen out.
Check that it is still in place and replace if necessary.

You should be able to get 415H chain from any motorbike shop, I would think. It's commonly used on 75cc to 125cc bikes.

One final point - if your chain keeps breaking, it must be misaligned or the rear sprocket is not true. If I were you I'd sort that out quickly. Many members have come to grief due to chain issues.

what exactly do you mean by a split pin? i typed that into lowes and advanced auto parts serach and it found nothing.
