ugly is only skindeep tho, my friends...and ugly makes for a friendly smile too...how can we lose eh?
a couple of "alaska" things:
following bama's & uncle_punk's advice, i didn't tune my radio looking for what i wanted to hear, but rather found the strongest signal and stuck with it...you know, soak up the local color. i have been enjoying THE most astounding mix of broadcast music EVER, impossible to describe except "only in alaska"...mayhaps van will explain why's that...my tuner shows 102.8 don't know the call letters they rarely interrupt.
the sunlight might be rare, but there's a whole lotta daylight in alaska ubetcha. no way i'm able to tell time by what the sky looks like...it seems like late afternoon for hours and then there's about 5 hours of twilight...it never gets blackdark.
