Hey,

I have decided to build a motorized bike with a weed wacker. It is friction driven. When I first built it it ran for like 20 feet but did not have a fuel line or anything going into the gas tank so it was getting no gas.

Well now I got that problem fixed but I had the bike sitting in the backyard, for about a week. Well in my backyard sprinkles go off, the sun hits the bike etc. and it got rusted. Well now I cant seem to get a spark, because there is gas coming out of the muffler when i try to run it.

So I tryed getting the rust off of the flywheel magnets, the magneto etc. and NOTHING. So I bought a new spark plug and tryed that. NOTHING. So now I am taking the magneto off of my dads old trimmer and putting it on mine.

What can I do to get this baby running? I have put a lot of hard work into this thing and want to get a ride on it :D

If it still has the kill switch on it, I bet it got water inside the switch.

If water got into the kill switch would it affect the spark?

...and LOL I found the weed eater in a neighbors trash can. I dont have the money to buy a 66cc sorry man.

If water got inside the switch and moisture is still inside it, it can cause the switch to short out, creating a situation where it is constantly killing the ignition.
