Anyone having problems keeping their Subaru carb carp free ? i cant find a small enough filter for the 1/8" line as the bulb filter in tank won't do it. My mechanic says the carb is complex like a watch (as i could see it was)He spent 4 times dismanteling it to blow out the debris--he said my friends Honda 100cc has a far simpler carb and can pass bigger debris--also the Morini 5.8 also will--anyone know if the Honda 50cc is more tolerant or the Tanaka pure fire ?or Daks 50cc ?

Yes, don't drive in rivers and lakes where there is a population of carp.

Go to your local hobbyshop that sells r/c model aircraft. DuBro Products makes a nice aluminum filter which can de disassemled for cleaning. Price around 4 bucks. I dare say the carbs for the r/c gassers are very similsr if not exactly the same. Make sure you specify gasoline not methanol. 1/8th inch tubing used often in r/c.

aww cmon, you guys had to get all serious on me and bob ,you have to admit his typo was funny.

I say carp all the time because the word filter here will not let you say ****. Many other do to. Sorry...
