...but what are some other things i can do?
Every section says "READ BEFORE POSTING", but - I guess you didn't read it?
One of the things you can do is use the search box to search the site.
That's a very generic question, maybe you should read all of the other threads in this section before you post a question like that. The name of this category is "Garage & Technical/Mechanical Help - detailed & specific technical talk."
Do this for me.
Go to every bicycle motor site you can find, using this forum to find those sites!
Now, keep a pad and pen handy.
Look at their parts and accessories, their aftermarket parts and tailor made fabricated modifications.
Take note of the parts that peak your interest.
Now, search this forum again looking specifically for those parts, and take notice what people have said about them, and what modifications they have done to those parts.
Now, do you have any creative original concepts for your own ideas based on what you've heard from other people, taking into account the reviews you've read, the prices you've compared, and the many pictures you've seen here and on the seller's sites? Or was there something that's just so confusing you can't wrap your mind around it, and need to have it explained to you so that you can understand it and learn from it?
Seriously, read the rules, read the section titles, and above all - read the threads!! The perk about a forum is that odds are, all of your questions were answered by June of '07, you're just late on the train.
Last thing here - and I'm not berating you, I'm just teaching you a quick crash course in forum etiquette.
I'm going to rewrite your question for you two times, once in the way I heard it, and once in the way I imagine you would like to present yourself.
I doe'nt know anething about moters, but I want it to go fast - I want a noss buttin and I wanna put a spark plug to my exhost cuz it'll look cool when I'm leeving flamez behine me@!!!@! I like customizng, I got a bedazzler for my birthdeh, and I bet I can make some really kewl streemerz!!!11 Besidez noss though, is there ane thing else thats' cool about these bikes? Can you get supre chargers, or turboes? What about blohwers? I would take the A/C out cause I'd go faster. Maybeh my dad will bie me a nue one when I bloe it upp!!
That is honestly what I heard.
What I wish I heard was this...
I have yet to purchase and install a motorbike as of yet, although I do ride motocross, so I am familiar with at least the basics when it comes to the standard design. After reading the forum rather at a random, I noticed that most people tend to believe there is no difference in the basic "in-frame" motor brands. What would be a good simple modification for a beginner that doesn't take much cost investment and is fairly low risk? I was looking at the NO2 kits, but after reading the manual online, I know it's going to be a while before my motor gets broken in and it's ready for something like that (I don't really have 200 dollars to burn).
