Hello everyone: Well first off, I'm new to this posting stuff, so please bear with me....... Although new to actually posting, I have been reading this forum for several years now, in particular the info on the Whizzer Motorbike. I live in Northern Burlington County, Florence Township, which is a stones throw from the Delaware River. Retired from the US Coast Guard a few years back.
Was interested in the Whizzer so in 2009 I drove down to Harpers Ferry WV and bought a sapphire blue NER. Shortly thereafter I was reading on the NJ state motor vehicle requirements for the Whizzer and was not suprised to read that they consider it just like the big boy motorcycles. Not too shortly thereafter they stopped importing the Whizzer. And of course the NER with the CVT is kind of like the red-haired step-child (no offense to red haired girls or step-children) of the Whizzer family.
As of this writing the bike sits in the garage. I sure hope to get a learners permit, etc this spring so I can finally legally take this machine out on the road. And, too, I look forward to joining the Whizzer family, and motorbiking family here!
As for the bike itself: mild mods done to her: Quenton Guenther shaved head, QC mushroom lifters, Brooks B-33 springer seat (honey) with Whizzer chrome seat post, whizzer rear rack with custom made rack bracket/rear disc caliper bracket, all chrome plated. Still have some other mods in mind; I hope to hear from fellow Whizzer motorbikers. Thanks and we'll see you later!
