My First Bike.

This is a Kustom Kruiser.
Just picked it up a few days ago.

I still need to figure out the peddle side chain and tensioner.
Have any of you built this bike that can point me in the right direction for that tensioner set up?
I am also in the market for a piece of the smaller chain if anyone has a piece.

The bike is pretty hooked up but I still have a few things in mind for the future..

The wiring is clearly not done.
As for the RC cars, just thought some of you might be interested as they do have similar engines. I could build 15 of those bikes with what those cars are worth.

tell me about it.
I am into r/c too and it's easy to wrap over $1,000.00 into a nitro or gasoline powered one.

Exactly. Never seems to end with RC cars.

The one on the left is actually being raffled off at the RCX show this coming weekend.
My website and our sponsors built up the car and all proceeds are going to the Red Cross.
The grand prize is that car along with everything needed. It is a 10,000 dollar car package.
I am glad that these bikes have less upgradable parts than RCs do...LOL

Oh..If anyone wants a chance to win the car tickets are still available at TGN dot com...

Thanks for the comments.

These bikes are much more enjoyable, IMHO, if you do the install yourself. I have been able to handle most of the mechanical issues that have cropped up with my Cranbrook Cruiser due to doing all of the wrenching and fitting myself and using this forum-Gearhead222

Nice bike and good photos. Seems you have a good camera, too.

That chain tensioner doesn't look like it's in the right place at all.

If you search "tensioner" or "chain tensioner", you should come up with all sorts of info.

Good luck.

Sweet Stretch!!! I to had problems trying to figure out the chain route on my stretchy cause the chain was super close to or should i say rubbing up on the tire and frame. didnt know how long the chain or which path to take as far as the drive chain goes. norm from venicemotorbikes.com is hookin it up!

and about the rc cars, WOW! those are some dope rides! yeah, HPI Baja's are insane with their prices and hop up parts. better just to invest into a real sand rail or baja racer. i used to race 1/10th stadium trucks back in the day, had a record setting adam drake xxx-nt with well over 1500 bucks into it, in the end, you can only do so much with them and not many people at local parks will be racing rc cars with you...kinda gets lonely hanging around an empty parking lot, field, or open beach. but the ones you have are going for a good cause so thats dope! they seriously need some dirt on them though cause they are way to clean! ok now back to MB's! :giggle:
