Hey guys I have been reading the forums for a while and figured I would make a name now that im building my first bike. I want to build a 1960s to 1970s stingray but I have not measured one in person yet so im still praying a 80cc stroke will fit. The one I am looking at one cragslist is a 1971 schwinn manta ray 5spd its silver and is like new beautiful condition the only thing is im prob kicking out about 500 bucks for it if i can get it  If I cant get this im going to try and get as close as I can to it and do a full restoration on the bike and upgrades before I add the engine kit.......

wow with all that out of the way can some one crush my dream and tell me its not going to fit it will save me a lot of time and future heart ache

Most are not dream crushers here Matt. Welcome to MBc!!

Search away and if there is anything you have questions about, just ask.

Your only limitation is your imagination.......looking forward to pics.

I should have searched for it my self *facepalm* I went to search and failed the capcha 3 times I hate those things...

Thank you so much I cant beleaive it fit with the frame with the extra bar that makes me so happy you dont even know because now it doubles the amount of bikes open for me to buy...

Now I just need to decide on my 2 stroke motor kit I have been checking out every single sponsors because I want to buy from some one who supports the site but I cant decide who makes the best kits and sooo many diff opinions its daunting

I also want to get the shift kit from sick bike parts so I can shift the motor with the suicide stick shift but It looks hard idk if I could do it... Please every one leave as many opinions and ideas as you can that's why im here

You will do well to post your questions in the proper sections. The vendors will be happy to answer questions, but they mostly look in the buy sell trade area......check out the vendor reviews also.....they will be of help.
