wheel size question

heres a bad mock up pic

now that looks pretty cool in my opinion!!!
if i were you, i'd go with it.
it doesn't look "Krate" tho, it looks more beach cruiser to me because of the frame/ wheel size.
but, it looks cool as it is!

Thank you! I realize now that with a pic it makes more sense in other people's eyes. That pic is of it before the springer i got for it... so ill have a pic of that tomorrow. hopefully.

what engine kit is on your lil bike there? is it 49cc?

ok so why is a 4 inch 22"frt/26"rear difference a bad idea on a 26" bike, if it's ok for a 24" bike to have 20frt/24rear?
isnt it the same thing? only on a bigger bike?

It looks good when the frame and forks are designed to have two separate wheel sizes.

Yes we also have bikes here in Thailand and Japan that used 22". Getting a little hard to find replacements because they really never got very popular was the issue

I actually used 17"x 3.5" Motorcycle tire/rim/spokes with bicycle hub. System actually translated to almost the same OS diameter as a 24" bike tire/rim. and 26"x 2" bike tire rim on front.

I will attach a pictures showing with both sizes. File 1097 is showing a 24" front and rear (actually 17" rear) look at front fork top of shock relation to tire. Now file 1548 has a 26" rim/tire see how it fills out fork.

This Bike is using a Honda MC full suspension front fork and rake of fork is 70 degrees quite radical! Frame is originally a 26" and extra space in front of rear tire was used to mount 2T oil tank for 2cycle engine as it has auto oiler... Throttle actually controls carb and oiler at same time.

if you want more accurate (quicker turning) this is why with extend forks they go smaller tire. to keep tread surface and turning edge as close to same position.

If turning no concern then go bigger for looks, but remember when you park watch which way you turn handlebars or bike could want to tip over (if you turn bars to right) too much rake in fork will also contribute to this issue.

Now most Chopper bikes that used 4.25" x 20" rear tire almost unaminusly used 24" front. this was a 24" frame!

Same as when you went to 24" x 4" (yes, you can now find) rear they had on front a 26" tire/rim and this was a 26" frame!

Answer everyones questions??
