I was riding at the speed of 31mph or 50kph and I slowed to turn a corner, i then twisted the throttle to increase the speed then all of a sudden It started bogging down, Now i have little to no throttle response and am wondering have i killed my engine by going that speed?

Could i have blow something?

How can i tell if i seized the engine?

going 50kph to decrease power. wth?

Hey man-
I'm still a n00b but I had that same issuse after a wreck. I cleaned all my electrical connections and lossened my carb bowl enough to make sure the float was free. It worked after that.

There could be any number of reasons...
Try isolating the problem..
1. Fuel
2. Compression
3. Electrical..
You haven't mentioned what you have check as of yet.

I haven't checked anything yet, just wanted a base to where to start off. It's just coming to morning here in Australia so I'll begin to check shortly. I hope its something small and not serious like compression loss.

Thank you for the advice. I'd give that a check and see how it goes for me. :D

Okay, update: In the morning i started the bike and everything is working fine again and i didn't touch anything.

when it was running i went around the block to test if it would do it again so i could see where the problem is but it was and is running perfect again...

I have taken the carby off and it was dirty which is weird because i only cleaned it about 3 days ago, so i cleaned it again. I've checked the electrical connections and they are all working, Checked spark plug and that is in good condition.

I'm going to dump the fuel and oil from the tank just in case it was that and mix up some new stuff.

I have a question for @Al.Fisherman if it is a compression problem, would the motor start at all or does it have problems starting? because when i go to start the motor it starts easy.

And also could the engine being "hot" cause the engine to have the problem i had last night? because it was really cold last night here and i was riding around for about an hour when the problem occurred..

it seems to me when the engine is just warm and cold outside my engine runs tops
