Mixing in tribute bikes at Kingsbury Texas Air Fair

but why no pics of Fokkers? :)

Actually I have posted my "Choctaw" with our Fokker DVII. I have posted the Kingsbury Special wiht our Jenny/Canuck in the past. I was too busy coordinating stuff to go over to the Fokker area. We had the Pavilion, the antique vehicle/living history area, the static display area (where the Fokkers are right now) and the active flight line. Normally the DR 1 triplane would have been flying but it has engine issues right now.

If you go to our pioneerflightmuseum.org site in about a week or two, we will probably have an event report and pics posted. Also, folks will probably start posting pics of the Kingsbury Air Fair (or Air show) 2011 soon. I hope more motorized bike pics will show up, but you never know.

a thing of beauty...

As you can guess, I'm a big fan of the Fokkers, but I've never seen one in person. Texas is far away from here. How many hours from Kingsbury to Dallas? By, you know, mundane modern car.

Try going to Dayton, Ohio for the WWI fly-in sometime. Worth the trip. The big one is going to be in 2014, I'll be there with my dad, we sell WWI helmets and helmet liners, (www.pflco.com)
