Spent 7 yrs in the Marines Building Helos for the most part of it. Customizing and fabricating is a new hobby. However I've invested in the tools and education time to build safe and proper. Looking forward to Apple Valley.

My current project is the "50cc Bandit"

24" x 20" chopper design. 24" double crown chrome chopper fork. Heavy duty drag handlebars.

Chasis
Currie Izip Electric Chopper
Length 54", Height 42"

Rims: Alloy 20" rear, 24" front on F-14G rustless spoke wheels

Engine
49cc
Transmission
Dry Automatic 4 gear
Origin/ 1983 Honda Aero 50

Hub Brake @ "Final Drive"

More images to come.

As of now have made all the cuts and mounts, preparing welds and final fabrications.

Glad that you signed up.
Hope that gas tank works out for you, let me know if you need any
more parts.

Are you going to race that 50cc build at the Grange Race in Apple Valley?

I don't think that I have seen anyone put a scooter motor and trans into
a bicycle. Really want to see your build when you get it running.

Check out the SuperMotard's racing around Grange on the asphalt and dirt.

As it stands

Doing the engine mounts in the next couple of days. Mounting the wires and Guts after the Holiday weekend. Hoping to get some race rules and bike regulations before I purchase aftermarket parts.

Rules Rules Rules...

Like No NOS???? lol

Hey, that motor fits right in there when you hack that pesky seat post
out of the way. :devilish:

For that 50 cc size motor the only SoCal Motor Bicycle Racing rules are:

Functioning pedals.
No real motorcycle tires.

That's it.....you can do whatever mods you want. :D

Sounds like Ill be a Spectator

The Pedals are no longer operational... I didnt weld the bearing in, just pulled the crank and pedals off... Not sure how I could Keep them both.... The engine is pretty wide.

I'll bring the Bandit to the Show anyway even if I cant race, it would be worth it to clock it and get out there to try out the track on the practice day
:-/

There are wide cranks available that clear 4 stroke motors,

Sick Bike parts sells a nice solution. I have them on my bike.

Give me a call and I will help you work it out.
