Wanted: U-brake to V-brake Adapter Plate

Hello all,

Building my first MB on a Schwinn cruiser I feel like I should get the brakes squared away before I ride.

I'm wondering if anyone has 1 or 2 U-brake to V-brake adapters laying around that they want to get rid of, before I order new ones.

Check your local bike shop--we have several here in town and the two non-snobby ones (you can go in a get service even if you aren't wearing your lycra super-hero bike suit) are always happy to let me scrounge through their scrap pile and pick a few parts.
